American Councils has finished recruiting for 2007-2008 FLEX program

American Councils for International Education has finished recruiting for 2007-2008 FLEX program. Committee of American Councils in Washington DC has selected 50 Georgian finalists. They are from different cities, towns and villages of Georgia. (See list of 2007-2008 FLEX Finalist)
Each year American Councils for International education conducts pre-Departure Orientations for the students in order to preparethem for the upcoming year in the United States. Orientations areled by American and Georgiantrainers and the training takes place outside of the Capital city.

First Pre Departure Orientation was conducted in Bakuriani, at Vere Palace from June 8 to June 11, 2007.  Trainers introduced different topics to students about American Life, Family and High School also taught some tools for overcoming challenges and difficulties while being on the programs. After full three working days students prepared “Talant Show” for American Councils staff and received nominations.
